Promote diversity: New campaign for harmony started in Altona!
On September 2, 2025, Hamburg will be all about diversity and social cohesion. A campaign launched in November 2022 aims to make the city's colorful diversity more visible. The idea came about at a meeting between the district administration and the Evangelical Church and is open to all religious communities. The aim is to support and network actors who are committed to harmonious coexistence. Hamburg.de reports that this initiative is particularly important in multicultural communities.
The target group of the campaign is everyone who actively contributes to diversity, be it through interreligious dialogues, district festivals or cultural festivals. The diverse places that contribute to this cohesion include community centers, cultural centers, religious institutions and sports clubs.
