The highlight of the triumphal conclusion was the last promotion game against Bremen. Before they led to the top form, the players had to make a little adventure by bus: Because of a torn Varriage, they were forced to walk the last 1.2 kilometers to the next subway station. The bus exit was delayed by 75 minutes - but the team brought their energy directly to the field!

a real thriller in the cup final

The Hamburg Cup final, which took place on May 29, 2025 in the Hoheluft stadium, was a real heartbeat final. In front of a full house with 4,288 spectators, FC St. Pauli took the lead 2-0 in the first half through goals from Merle Oppenheim and Lina. But the Vicky supporters should cheer in the middle of the first half when Celine Witt made the connection with a strange goal.

In the second half, Jana Bothmann then delivered the next highlight and equalized in the 51st minute. A little later Celine hit Witt again and catapulted her team 3-2 into the lead. Despite oppressive superiority in the final phase, the kickers of St. Pauli could no longer achieve the equalization. Referee Jacqueline Herrmann whistled after four minutes of stoppage time, and Victoria's players were able to cheer her cup victory. Dennis Wolf, the trainer, was proud and emphasized the importance of this success for women's football.

on the regional league north

With this success, SC Victoria also secured a place in the first round of the women's DFB Cup for the coming season. The Regionalliga Nord, the third highest division in German women's football, is divided into twelve teams from Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Bremen and Schleswig-Holstein. Here the Victorians hope for a solid relegation, because at the end of the season the last two teams descend.

The Frauen-Regionalliga Nord has been led under this name since 1994 and emerged from the Oberliga North, which was founded in 1986. It was once the highest women's division in northern Germany and is managed by the North German Football Association. For Victoria, an exciting chapter in this league now begins, and the team will do everything possible to continue the good run.

The impressive season, which ended with the Hamburg championship title, the cup victory and promotion to the regional league, makes SC Victoria a serious player in women's football. With its strong performance and an incessant fighting spirit, the team has proven that it is ready to show what they are made of in the new league. And so it is now said for all fan communities: "Forward, Victoria - relegation is the next goal!"
