Experience the Titanic: Impressive immersive exhibition in Hamburg!

An extraordinary exhibition about the Titanic is currently being presented in Hamburg: “Titanic: An Immersive Journey”. This impressive show can be visited in the Expo Hall until September 2025 and allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of the legendary ship. The entry price starts at 26 euros, but for an exciting virtual reality experience you have to shell out an additional 6 euros. What sets the exhibition apart from others are the approximately 300 exhibits, including one of the twelve preserved sun loungers from the sun deck and many original pieces from the identical sister ship Olympic.

Particular attention is paid to the first grade corridors, which were recreated according to the latest scientific knowledge. Visitors have the opportunity to receive personalized boarding passes that reflect information about real passengers. At the end of the exhibition, the Memorial Room invites you to remember the victims of the sinking. Interactive information boards ensure that the fate of the passengers becomes even more tangible. The exhibition combines historical knowledge with emotional experiences in a unique way.

A virtual journey through time

The immersive experience is complemented by a VR experience that simulates the sinking of the Titanic. However, caution is advised: many visitors report that the experience can cause dizziness and is therefore not suitable for the faint of heart. Although peak times can get busy, it is recommended to choose quieter times for better access to content.

While in Munich the exhibition “The Legend of the Titanic” is also very popular. This show, which runs in the parcel post hall until the end of the year, focuses on the exciting story of the Titanic from her departure to her tragic end. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of the ship with 360º projections and immersive sound reconstructions and gain a comprehensive insight into the life stories of the passengers.
