It's time! On June 27, 2025, a very special festival will be celebrated in Hamburg. Autoland AG opens its first branch in the Hanseatic city and uses the spacious premises on the former Mercedes-Benz site on Bornkampsweg. With a motto like “Ahoy Hamburg”, the opening puts a lot of pressure right from the start and promises an event of superlatives. According to Autohaus reports, the new locations cover an impressive 22,000 square meters, of which 8,000 square meters are dedicated to sales and service.
What can visitors expect? The event will be a happy folk festival with live music, a varied family program, street food and a charity raffle. Entry is free and starts at 10 a.m. on both days. The opening ceremony promises lots of fun for young and old, including free food trucks, bouncy castles, a bobby car course and racing cars to test drive. A Carrera train and even a gondola ride over Hamburg provide additional entertainment. The musical highlights are “Break Free Queen Tribute Show” and “Aisata Blackman & Band”, while presenters Ben Chadwick and Finn Rieken from Radio Hamburg put everything charmingly into the right context.
Fundraising campaign with charm
The charity tombola, which was set up for the benefit of the Sternenbrücke children's hospice and the Radio Hamburg initiative “Listeners help children”, has a very special purpose. For just 1 euro per ticket, participants can enjoy winning exclusive prizes, including televisions, tablets, smartphones and, as the main prize, a Hyundai i30 station wagon. The main prize draw will take place on Saturday evening on stage in front of a large crowd, and the winning key will be raffled off exclusively over the radio. The proceeds from the raffle not only go to charity, but Autoland explains that it will continue to increase the amount depending on sales figures. A great sign for the community!
There are also special opening offers to purchase a vehicle, which include an immediate discount of up to 200 euros. The branch is easy to reach by car or public transport and there are sufficient parking spaces available. Not to forget: Anyone who registers with Radio Hamburg by June 26, 2025 has the chance to win a golden key with guaranteed prizes.

The expansion of Autoland to Hamburg is a significant step, as the company is one of Germany's largest car discounters. This will be the first location in Hamburg, after already having over 30 branches in other cities.
