After a well-deserved break of three weeks, the FC St. Pauli U23 team met again on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 to start preparation for the season. Head coach Benny Moritz Hoose conducted the first training session after an intensive medical check and performance tests carried out on Monday and Tuesday.
In the opening meeting, Hoose made the goals clear. Then, full of enthusiasm and anticipation, the players went to the gym and moved their training to the artificial turf, where they worked on their fitness for more than an hour and a half. The exercises included small rondos and various passing exercises that steadily increased in intensity.
A new squad and strong community
Despite the newly formed squad, which attracts fresh faces, the team showed strong cohesion and team spirit right from the start. Hoose, known for his structured and defensive preferred 4-3-3 formation, praised the team and highlighted the positive energy that was evident in this training session.
