Maurides leaves St. Pauli: Return to Radomiak Radom perfect!
The Brazilian striker Maurides Roque Junior left FC St. Pauli and returns to Radomiak Radom, where he was previously active for 1.5 years. According to FC St. Pauli , the transfer modalities were often agreed, which is often the case in such transfers. The player switched to Hamburg in December 2022 after scoring 9 goals in Radomiak in 47 league games and was also successful in the Polish trophy.
Maurides is considered a robust central attacker. Despite a promising obligation, however, he was unable to prevail in the FC St. Pauli team. During his time with the Hamburgers, he came to a game in the Bundesliga, 14 missions in the 2nd Bundesliga and two games in the DFB Cup. For him, a knee injury was a hard setback for him, as it failed for over six months. Nevertheless, he always showed commitment and high identification with the club and quickly found connection to the team and the fans.
back to the roots
Return to Radomiak seems to be another step in his career for Maurides. During his last half series, he spent his time on loan from the Hungarian first division club Debreceni VSC, where he was able to collect valuable game practice. Now he will be under contract with Radomiak, where he could already establish himself as a key player and played a good role.
Last September Maurides made a name for himself with the fans and the team, not least through a goal in a test game against GW Firrel, with which he said goodbye to the Millerntor. He will certainly not forget his time in Hamburg, however short she was.
A look at the transfer landscape
The transfer of Maurides is part of a dynamic market in global football. Statista describes that clubs can buy, sell or borrow players in the transfer period. While some clubs, such as Paris St. Germain, spend hundreds of millions for players today, the Bundesliga, which also includes FC St. Pauli, is very popular because of their financial stability.
Although expenses in the Bundesliga exceeded the income last season, the transfer market is still a double -edged sword. Sporty success is not always in direct connection with high expenses for player transfers. But one thing is certain: football remains a game full of surprises, and Maurides ’return to Radomiak could be the beginning of a new chapter in his career.
