This year we have already seen the first serve in a traditional series of qualifications. Equestrian tournaments reports that the first four finalists have been chosen. The riders presented themselves impressively and mastered the high demands of the competitions.

Strong field of participants

But that wasn't all. The other finalists include Jessica Süß with Dynoro and Kira Laura Soddemann with Borghese MT, both of whom achieved high scores.

Brueske Medien emphasizes that the Nuremberg Burg Cup has offered a platform for promoting young talent in dressage sport for over 30 years. This tournament series has established itself as the most important of its kind in the world and is considered a springboard for many future leaders.

The uvex style prize and the German championship

Another highlight of the event was the awarding of the uvex style award. Greta Busacker received this for her horse-friendly riding, a recognition that not only focuses on the sporting abilities but also the welfare of the animals. In the German U25 Championships, Moritz Treffinger secured the gold medal with Cadaux Noir, while Bluetooth OLD and Denoix PCH won silver and bronze.

The riders now have to concentrate fully on the challenges ahead. The next qualification is already waiting from July 31st to August 3rd at the Elmloher Reitertage, followed by further exciting competitions until the final in December 2025.

Looking back on the long tradition of the Nuremberg Burg Cup, which was launched in 1992, one can rightly say that it plays an essential role in the international development of dressage. Wikipedia writes that over 155 medalists have emerged from this series over the past 35 years. The Burg Cup remains not only an event for the participants, but also a meeting of the luminaries of dressage sport.
