Hundreds of thousands celebrate the Schlagermove 2025 in Hamburg-St. Pauli!

Heiligengeistfeld, 20359 Hamburg, Deutschland - On June 29, 2025, Hamburg will again become the scene of the popular hit moves. Every year the event attracts 400,000 visitors: inside the city, which are lost together in the colorful celebrations. The move is expected at 3 p.m. on the Heiligengeistfeld and leads on a route that leads through central places and streets of St. Pauli. Around 50 festively decorated trucks are incorporated into the caravan, which all participants: encourage inside to celebrate and dance.

The route extends from Heiligengeistfeld via Millerntorplatz, the Landungsbrücken and the well -known Reeperbahn before going back to the Heiligengeistfeld. As early as 1 p.m., the trucks are set up, which gives the celebrating enough time to adjust to the big move. Since 1997, the Schlagermove has been attracting thousands of fans every year, who cannot miss the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable experience, as the NDR reports.

celebrate until late at night

After the move, the mood will be no less exuberant. The Aftermove parties start in two large party tents on the Heiligengeistfeld from 5:30 p.m. Here, among others, DJ Vossi as well as a Wolfgang Petry Double and Norman Langen will provide musical entertainment. Admission is only possible with tickets, which is why it is advisable to secure them in advance.

For the visitors: 500 toilet units are available inside along the route. Nevertheless, it is recommended to use the public toilets and the pubs to reduce the rush. To ensure mutual security, around 300 paramedics: inside and a security service that also monitors the playgrounds in the area are in use.

Important information on arrival

If you plan to take part in the Schlagermove, you should prepare for certain restrictions. Due to construction work over the weekend between Hamburg-Stellingen and Hamburg-Heimfeld, the A7 will be fully closed-for 55 hours. All the more recommends to travel by public transport in order to get to the festival site without stress.

Speaking of events: On the same day, just a few hours before the Schlagermove, there is a concert by Ed Sheeran in the Volksparkstadion, which should also ensure a high number of visitors in the city.

The Schlagermove is not the only event that Hamburg has to offer this summer. From July 4th to 6th the Hamburgers then celebrate the Tibarg, a street festival with all kinds of attractions for young and old before the next highlight, the Pride Week, is pending. This also promises a solemn atmosphere and large crowds.
