The current situation in public transport in Schleswig-Holstein is causing quite a stir and a certain amount of confusion: construction work by Deutsche Bahn is resulting in numerous train cancellations. The RB 61 train line is currently struggling with significant restrictions: it ends and starts in Hamburg-Altona between 9:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. This means that the stops in Hamburg-Dammtor and Hamburg-Hauptbahnhof cannot be accessed temporarily. Affected passengers are advised to use the S-Bahn from Altona. There are also individual failures on the RB 61 and RB 71 lines.
Alternatives for commuters

However, it is recommended to use the S-Bahn between Pinneberg and Hamburg. But there are currently massive disruptions not only in Schleswig-Holstein: passengers in the Hamburg area and beyond, for example on the connections to Kiel and Husum, are also facing major challenges.
