An investigation that has been ongoing since January 2024 for particularly severe forgery of documents, which was initiated by the Federal Police Inspection Crime Combating Rostock.

As part of the raid, four arrest warrants were carried out. Three of the suspects could be caught in Hamburg, while another at the Forest border crossing was caught when entering Germany. The accused are between 26 and 45 years old and come from Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan. Here it is believed that the gang not only brought fake certificates such as passports and driver's licenses, but was also actively involved in the production of these documents that were closely related to counterfeiting crimes.
