Millerntor Gallery 2025: Art and music for a better water future!

From July 10th to 13th, the Millerntor Stadium will once again be a stage for art, music and culture. For the 13th time, Viva con Agua ARTS is organizing the Millerntor Gallery in collaboration with FC St. Pauli. This year the festival's motto is “ART CREATES WATER”. A lofty goal that highlights the importance of access to water and how art can help raise awareness of this issue. The proceeds from the festival benefit the international water projects of Viva con Agua, which are active in countries such as Uganda and South Africa, among others, according to szene-hamburg.com.

The festival transforms the stadium into a vibrant space showcasing a wide range of art forms. The walls of the stadium are designed with murals by renowned artists such as Cami_ffc, ATE and Bona Berlin. From classic paintings to innovative upcycling projects to special exhibitions for children - there are no limits to creativity. millerntorgallery.org emphasizes that the Millerntor Gallery Festival is not just an art show, but also a social meeting place that offers around 17,000 visitors the opportunity to actively participate in social change.

Experience artistic diversity

On a musical level, the event also promises a multi-layered experience. With three music stages, numerous artists from a wide variety of genres are expected. Headliners like the band KAVFKA, Malou Lovis, Asha Jefferies and LILA SOVIA heat up the visitors. Hot talents present themselves on the newcomer stage and Dominik Eulberg and Miss Leema, among others, take part on the DJ stage - there is something for every musical taste here. These musical contributions are not just for entertainment, they are part of a larger whole: a mutual exchange on topics that are important to the community.

But the Millerntor Gallery offers more than just art and music. As part of the cultural program, there will be numerous talks, performances and readings on the Culture Stage. Of particular note are the discussions on important topics such as water supply and the environment. Luisa Neubauer will speak about the climate debate on Friday, while a talk by Viva con Agua on the future of water is also expected to spark lively discussions. A highlight on Sunday will be the walking performance “Aquatopia,” which impressively showcases the importance of water. The podcast duo MORD ON EX will also perform on Saturday.

Art as a tool for change

Art goes beyond the borders of Hamburg. One example is the impressive mural in Kampala, created as part of the Walls of Water project, which highlights the importance of clean water. Here, international street artists worked with children to create an important work of art that is intended to raise awareness of hygiene and water supply. deutschland.de highlights how art serves as a tool to make global issues such as climate change tangible.

Overall, the Millerntor Gallery 2025 will be a feast for the senses and a place for exchange and discussion of pressing social issues. Art and culture go hand in hand with the charitable concern of improving access to water for all people. Visitors are invited to take part in this unique experience and support a good cause.
