A new adventure for builders big and small will soon be opening its doors in Hamburg! The LEGO Discovery Center will open in Westfield Überseequartier on June 13, 2025, and it promises to be an exciting world of experience for families with children aged two to twelve. You can already look forward to an area of 3,000 square meters, which is filled with twelve exciting experience areas. The highlight in particular, the “Space Mission”, is sure to make the hearts of young space explorers beat faster. Here the kids can build their own LEGO spaceships and take off into space in a simulated flight. For the little engineers there is also the “Building Adventure”, where they can put self-built LEGO cars to the test in crash tests. Another exciting area is the “MINI WORLD”, which recreates Hamburg’s landmarks using over 1.3 million LEGO bricks.
A holistic experience
In addition to these fantastic attractions, visitors can look forward to many other options. In the “Minifigure Workshop” children can design their own LEGO minifigures – a great opportunity to let out their creativity. For the little ones there is the “LEGO DUPLO Park”, where activities such as duck fishing and carousel riding are on the program. To satisfy the adventure fever, the “Action Zone” awaits with climbing and obstacle areas as well as exciting reaction games.
What’s particularly cool: The LEGO Discovery Center will feature a 4D cinema experience. Here guests can immerse themselves in an interactive world and ride through the LEGO landscape on the “Imagination Express”, equipped with magical wands!
Unique in Germany
The Hamburg Center is the first location of this new generation in Germany and joins international locations in Brussels, Boston, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Ticket bookings are only possible online - for 23.50 euros per person you can secure your place in this exciting world. The center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and regularly offers “after work” building events for adult LEGO fans.
