Othmarscher Advent Calendar 2025: Surprise and do good!
In Othmarschen there is again an Advent calendar that not only offers a special surprise for every day, but also does good. The Othmarscher Advent calendar 2025 will be available from the end of October and promises 24 days full of little joys. The cover of this heartwarming calendar was designed by the talented Blankenese painter Dörthe Behrens. All proceeds go to KIDS Hamburg e. V. as well as the children's, youth and disabled people's work at the Christ Church in Othmarschen, which will benefit both the community and the institutions involved.
The stories behind the doors are just as exciting as the prices themselves. Retailers, cultural institutions and restaurateurs from Hamburg have teamed up to provide a variety of surprises. The prizes range from hotel stays to cinema and theater tickets to shopping vouchers and barge rides. “There’s something going on!” All we can say is that the commitment of local business people is admirable and worth supporting.
A work of art for every day
An additional highlight is the painting competition in which schools can take part. 24 works of art, selected by a jury from the submissions, decorate the doors of the calendar. This campaign promotes children's creativity and makes their Advent calendar twice as valuable. The participating schools also receive a small donation for their support association - a win-win situation for everyone involved.
Don't forget that the calendar also makes the perfect Advent gift or souvenir! The price of just ten euros makes it easy to associate good deeds with letters and numbers. The calendars will be available in various stores on Waitzstrasse, Beselerstrasse, Liebermannstrasse and Beseler Platz - remember to take a look!
