The North German young talent competition “Wood Moves” is entering its ninth round and is captivating many wood lovers and design enthusiasts. At the Museum of Work the doors are open to a fascinating exhibition that can be visited until July 6th. Under the motto “Design meets sustainability”, visitors can expect an exciting interplay of traditional wood craftsmanship and modern design.
The objects on display are not only beautiful to look at, but also demonstrate a high level of sustainability awareness. All works are made from certified or recycled wood and are produced in an energy-efficient manner. The focus is on durability, repairability and recyclability, so that the furniture and interior items are both functional and environmentally friendly.
